~* India Arie *~

Entah kapan persisnya aku sendiri pun lupa (mungkin sekitar dua tahun lalu), tapi yang pasti malam itu aku jadi mengenal lagu-lagu, suara dan gaya khas milik India Arie. Malam dua tahun lalu, entah kenapa mata ini susah terpejam padahal malam semakin larut. Iseng aku ambil radio tua yang alhamdulillah masih bisa menjalankan fungsinya. Setelah puter-puter dan gonta-ganti channel akhirnya hatiku tertambat pada suara jazzy-nya India Arie. Nama India Arie-pun baru aku dengar malam itu dari penjelasan si penyiar.

(Hmm… suaranya Oke… Syairnya juga dalem…)

Aku lupa nama stasiun radio yang memutar lagu-lagunya India Arie karena aku sibuk mencatat liriknya (meski acak-acakan dan lompat-lompat tak jelas). Waktu itu lagu yang aku dengar adalah “Can I Walk With You” yang liriknya “Gue Banged”. Aku berusaha untuk mengingat lirik dalam lagu itu untuk melengkapi catatanku supaya nanti bisa ditanyakan ke “Mbah Google”. Dan dengan bantuan “Simbah” aku bisa menyimpan suara indah dengan lirik-lirik penuh makna milik India Arie. Dari sekian banyak lagu India Arie, hanya tiga lagu ini yang sering aku dengar karena lagu-lagunya “Gue Banged”.
